Thirty eight members of the Pakkai Seamen's

Union were arrested by the military on the 3rd

february, presumably on account of the "San Nam

Hoi" piracy which was reported to have been

engineered by the union.

The arrested men are now in custody in Kongmoon

City pending investigation into the activities of

the Union which has now been declared illegal.

eport stating that Chu Fook has been captured at Lau Tau, (opposite Longmoon City), is unconfirmed. Lai aung, ex Chairman of the union and #ong Pul,

present Chairman of the Union, are still at large.
